wicked,a book that is a spin off of the wizard of oz.Its a story about the green witch from oz(in the wizard of oz they don't say what her name is,but in this book her name is elphaba).Elphaba, a misunderstood girl.the reason she is green is because her mom had an affair with a man that gave her mother magical green elixir.her father (not really her father but she finds this out in the end)because she comes out green her father hates her and he forces his wife to eat flour so there second child doesn't come out green but because of so much flour cause the second child with lite pink skin and no arms and cant move her legs but the father favors the second child.later in the book elphaba and her sister nessarose go to shiz university where elphaba is dormed with a very rich and social ladder climbing galinda(the nice pink witch) later changes her name to glinda.in this book, tells you the life and secert of elphaba and how she got the nick name "the wicked witch of the west.
